Our volunteer team range from junior helpers (Year7) through to adults of any age. We organise training and briefings for all the volunteers so please don’t let the fact that you haven’t involved before put you off.
The children spend part of their time each morning in small groups that will be led by an adult volunteer assisted by under 18 helpers - in these groups children complete a range of craft activities in addition to reviewing and discussing the Bible story of the day.
Some of the children who join us for the week need some additional support provided by volunteers who work in a 1 to 1 capacity with them
The majority of our volunteers work in small groups with the children but there are also other roles requiring specific skills such as being part of the worship band (instrument or singing), organising team games, first aid, puppets or drama.
